The Solid Waste Division is responsible for collection of Residential and Commercial Garbage in The City of Sedro-Woolley. All services can be customized to fit your or your company's needs. |

Solid Waste Collection Services:
Managed and operated locally, we service residential and commercial customers. Our wide selection of service and pickup schedules will meet your needs, while controlling your costs. Our dedication to our customers ensures that you will have a single point of contact for all of your questions and concerns. The Solid Waste Division is a team of professional drivers that will provide you with consistent, on-time collection of your household and commercial waste.
Bulk Collection: The Solid Waste Division is able to pick up items that are considered bulk pick up such as stoves, refrigerators, hot water heaters, and household furnishings such as recliners and sofas. These items are usually scheduled as a special service and include special charges based on the items.

The Recycling that we Accept for Free:
Newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, aluminum, metal, plastic, glass all colors, and tin cans, motor oil, vehicle batteries, household batteries and old printing cartridges from your printer. We also accept packaging materials: Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap. When recycling appliances and tires and non covered electronics at our site you will have to pay a fee, please call ahead for price of disposal.
Electronic Waste:
Beginning January 1, 2009, the City began providing free recycling of televisions, computer monitors, computers and many other types of electronics. For more information, please visit the State of Washington Department of Ecology's E-Cycle Washington website.
The E-Cycle Washington program is expanding the list of products covered by the program to include electronic readers. Electronic readers, commonly called e-readers or e-book readers, include the Kindle (by Amazon), the Nook (by Barnes & Noble), the Sony Reader and a number of other lesser-known brands.
We can also pick up any of these types of recycling materials from your home, apartment or business for a small fee.

A punch card is required prior to disposal of yard waste with the exception of - Pumpkins during the first two weeks of November 2010 - Christmas trees during the first three weeks of January 2011.
Punch cards are available for purchase in increments of:
$5.00 *(five punches)
$20.00 *(twenty punches)
*Each punch allows for approximatly one 32 gallon can or bag of yard debris. A full size pick up truck will be approximatly $12.00 for disposal (Commercial Dealers okay).
We ask for you to please seperate your grass and brush. This helps us keep our prices low. If you do not seperate your loads you may be charged an additional fee.
